Out & About Guide 2009
If you are struggling for inspiration on ways to entertain the kids during the summer holidays, Little Chef has come to the rescue!
Little Chef has played a part in memorable family days out throughout its 51 year history and, to maintain this tradition, we have compiled the UK’s Top 51 Family Days Out, to help families spend some quality time together at some of the country’s best attractions.
Nominated by the British public and judged on a number of criteria including accessibility, cost and appeal to age groups, the shortlisted 51 feature on the downloadable guide and will be highlighted on our Out & About map which is available from 29/07/09 at our restaurants.
The guide offers something for everyone, making it the perfect starting point for planning a day with mum, dad, granny, granddad and the kids. The attractions range from popular theme parks for thrills and excitement, to museums to learn about the past, present and future; historic country houses and castles, through to vast expanses of country parks, ideal for playing games and having picnics. For those who love spending time with their furry friends, there are plenty of zoos, nature reserves, urban farms and wildlife parks and if you fancy making your fun day out into a weekend, why not visit places such as York, Keswick or the Norfolk Broads for a whole host of activities.
So get planning your next family day out and don’t forget to take your camera!
