Little Chef Balhaldie South

The Little Chef Balhaldie South is located at a beautiful countryside location on the A9 Southbound, between Braco and Dunblane, adjacent to the Shell petrol station with ample parking.

The site was opened between 1980 and 1982 and had been used for many things over the years, including; garage, blacksmith and as an Inn. The Little Chef is housed in a historical building built before the Battle of Sherriffmuir, 13th November 1715. In the early 90s, Shell built a filling station, which helped in encouraging more people to stop and enjoy a nice meal at the Little Chef. On the other side of the A9 was a sister site of the Little Chef, named Balhaldie North, which unfortunately closed in September 2012, leaving Balhaldie South as the only remaining Little Chef in Scotland.
