Little Chef Popham
Little Chef hit the small screens earlier this year, as Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal revamped our menu and the look of one of our restaurants as part of a Channel 4 documentary, ‘Big Chef takes on Little Chef’.
The new-style Little Chef was initially being trialled at our Popham restaurant on the A303 near Basingstoke and the programme charted the journeys of both Heston and his vision for a 21st century Little Chef, and the employees involved.
Since the Popham restaurant reopened to the public at the end of November, the reaction to the menu and fresh new look has been fantastic. Here is what some of the customers have been saying:

The trial in Popham has proved a success and already learnings are being fed into our latest menu which launches late May
Working with Heston has been a great experience and we are due to meet him again next month to discuss the future. In the meantime, if you want to sample the new-look Little Chef for yourself, then head down to the Popham restaurant and enjoy the food, the games and the service… and believe us when we say that a trip to the loo will never be the same again…
